Do my guests need to create an account?add
No. They open your collection's link with the QR code and can upload their files straight from their browser.
Is it free for my guests?add
Yes, it's always free for your guests: they can upload photos, videos and voice messages, with no app required.
Can I receive high-quality videos and photos?add
Yes. Grappil accepts photos, videos and certain RAW formats. Retention and download terms depend on the plan chosen.
Do voice messages count toward the storage quota?add
Yes. Like the photos and videos your guests upload, voice messages count against your collection's storage quota.
What happens after the wedding?add
You keep a space to view, organize and export your memories. The exact duration is shown on your plan.
Is it suited to a large wedding?add
Yes: a collection is designed to receive uploads from all your guests, without requiring them to install anything.
What's the difference between the Event plan and the Pro plan?add
Event is a one-time payment of €49 that unlocks original quality, 500 GB and 12 months of retention for a single collection. Pro is a monthly or annual subscription giving access to unlimited collections, 2 TB shared across the whole account, and up to 10 members.
What happens if I cancel my Pro subscription?add
Your collections remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation. After that, they revert to the Free plan's rules (1 open collection, 250 GB, 30-day retention), except those that already have the Event option.
Is the Event plan a subscription?add
No. It's a one-time payment of €49 for the collection concerned, with no automatic renewal.
When does the Free plan's 30-day retention period start?add
If you've entered your wedding date, the 30 days start on that date, regardless of when you opened the collection: your guests can therefore upload photos freely before the event without eating into that window. If no date is entered, the 30 days start as soon as the collection is opened. Either way, once that period passes, the collection closes automatically and is permanently deleted 30 days later if it hasn't been upgraded with the Event option or the Pro plan.
