Grappil was born from a simple frustration: after a wedding, the most beautiful memories stay stuck on guests' phones — compressed, scattered, often lost.
Every wedding brings together dozens of guests, each with their own phone, each with a different perspective on the day. These photos and videos are often the most genuine — taken in the moment, far from the official photographer's lens. The problem: they end up compressed in a WhatsApp group, or never shared at all.
Grappil was built to solve exactly that: a simple collection point, accessible with a scan, that preserves the original quality of every file — HD, 4K, RAW included.

Couples create their collection in a few minutes and receive a QR code to display on the tables, slip into the invitation, or share online. Each guest scans it and uploads their photos and videos directly from their browser — no app to install, no account for the guest to create.
Couples then find everything in one place, in original quality, ready to sort and download. No conversation thread to scroll through, no recompressed file, no photo lost on a guest's phone because they forgot to share it.
Grappil is aimed first at couples themselves, not event professionals. It complements the official photographer's work, designed to capture every view of the day — including the ones the photographer's lens can't see: guests among themselves, behind the scenes, spontaneous moments.
Zero compression: files uploaded by guests are kept in their original resolution and format, including 4K video and RAW photos. 100% EU hosting: couples' and guests' data never leaves the EU, with no transfer to servers outside European territory. Explicit consent: analytics trackers only fire after cookies are accepted, never before.
Grappil is published by LXD CORP, founded by Laurent Dubois. The team works from France, with data hosted exclusively in the European Union.
Does Grappil replace the wedding photographer?
No, it's a complement. The photographer captures the official course of the day; Grappil gathers everything guests see that the photographer's lens can't cover — behind the scenes, the tables, the dance floor.
Who can see the photos guests upload?
Only the couple who created the collection has access. Guests upload their files but don't see other guests' uploads, unless the couple enables sharing.
Is Grappil free?
Yes, a free plan lets you try the collection with 7 days of file retention. Paid plans extend retention up to a year and remove the storage limit.
